A major tyre manufacturer in Bangladesh has invested over Tk 2,000 crore in a modern production facility in Habiganj, with a capacity of 2.5 million tyres annually. Production began in 2024 after initial pandemic-related delays. The plant serves multiple segments buses, trucks, cars, and motorcycles targeting annual savings of Tk 3,000 crore by reducing import reliance and creating thousands of jobs.
