Business Partnership Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and versatile partnerships and business development guru, who is hungry and curious to expand his / her horizon into uncharted and exciting new territories. This role will start off by forming deep relationships with our existing global partners and building the GTM strategies for both our products and services. The person will work with a small team of strong marketing and sales professionals at Cloudly and coordinate with the Sales Engineering team, as needed. Our ideal candidate will have experience developing long-term, value-based business partnerships with large corporations and leading co-sales and co-marketing activities. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day partner activities with a small set of local and global partners ensuring that they all succeed from mutual and win-win deals through the entire marketing funnel and deal pipelines with long-term outlook. Buck will stop with you for all partner-based sales and marketing at Cloudly.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and nurture deep relationships with existing global partners, fostering strong collaboration and trust
  2. Develop a deep understanding of the products, their benefits and establish a positioning strategy of those products that the partner sales and marketing teams can execute on
  3. Design and lead co-sales and co-marketing activities with partners, driving joint initiatives through different market segments and channels that result in mutual growth and value, measurable and metrics-driven KPIs
  4. Take co-ownership of partner-based sales and marketing, driving the success of all partner initiatives from initial engagement through the entire marketing funnel and deal pipelines that deliver revenue growth for the company.
  5. Act as a key liaison between Cloudly and partners, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring all parties benefit from mutually beneficial deals
  6. Collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams at Cloudly, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure effective partner-related sales and marketing efforts that Cloudly teams may need to undertake
  7. Identify and engage with potential new partners to expand business opportunities and explore untapped territories, unpinned with solid principles, continuous improvement and evolution of Cloudly’s overall business strategy
  8. Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify potential partnership opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly

Expected Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
  2. Proven track record of successfully developing and managing long-term, value-based business partnerships with large corporations
  3. Strong experience in co-sales and co-marketing activities, with a demonstrated ability to drive joint initiatives that generate tangible results
  4. Solid understanding of the marketing funnel and deal pipelines, with the ability to optimize partner-related activities at each stage for maximum impact and revenue growth
  5. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with partners at various levels of the organization
  6. Strategic mindset and business acumen, capable of identifying market opportunities, assessing risks, and developing effective GTM strategies
  7. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, with a track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and driving alignment towards common goals
  8. Proactive and self-motivated, with a hunger for exploring new territories and expanding business horizons
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  10. Experience in the cloud or mobile services industry is highly desirable
  11. Experience in taking innovative products and services to the market is a huge plus
